As we all deal with the ramifications of a global pandemic and the prudent local measures that have been taken to help stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we at BOMA Calgary wanted to offer industry members who aren't current members an opportunity to stay up to date with the Calgary Emergency Management Agency’s (CEMA) Emergency Operations Centre's (EOC) daily updates.
Since a local state of emergency was declared on Sunday, March 15 the city’s Emergency Operations Centre was activated. As an invited external partner, BOMA Calgary is the voice and representative for the commercial real estate industry during emergency situations.
Twice a day BOMA Calgary representatives are in EOC update meetings and are in a position to both provide the industry with up-to-date information, as well as to relay important industry considerations back to CEMA.
