McCauley Land Development (Paskin Site) - Design & Layout Concepts

McCAULEY RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS!

WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

The Edmonton CDC and the McCauley Concept
Design Team (consisting of residents and business
owners) are seeking feedback to help us decide
which of the concepts below to build. The concepts
are based on ideas from community members.

The site is known as the "Paskin Site," which is
the land on the east side of 95 Street just north
of 106 Avenue. The Edmonton CDC is currently
working with the City to finalize the transfer of
land to the CDC.

It is also our intention to secure the Lay Down
site on the east side of 95 Street just south of
106 Avenue.

The "Paskin Site" is currently zoned for low
rise apartments. The design team considered
housing but prefer the concepts below.

Once a concept is chosen, we will proceed
with rezoning It can take 6-12 months for
rezoning. We will also work with people who
might live in or locate their business within
the structure. They will be invited to help
us with the final design for a building that
meets their needs.

We cannot rely on grants to build, maintain or operate the building so we will be seeking financing and investment, including exploring the potential for a local investment co-op to participate.

This online survey closes at midnight, January 17 2019.

We will publish the results of the feedback process on our website.
