Work and Travel USA Summer 2019: Pre-Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the CIEE Work and Travel USA Program.

StudyUSA Higher Education Consultants Ltd./Applimates, together with CIEE, a U.S. leader in educational exchange (www.ciee.org) is offering the Work and Travel USA Program (WAT USA) to students currently studying in Cyprus this year!

What is the Work and Travel Program

The Work and Travel Program (WAT) is an opportunity for students currently studying in a university/college/post-secondary institution in Cyprus to spend up to 4 months in the U.S. in summer 2019 learning about American culture, improving their English language skills while gaining basic work experience. Students who participate in this program are placed at restaurants, hotels, amusement parks, supermarkets and other similar places of employment, and carry out basic duties and earn a salary to help cover their expenses in the United States. The employment opportunities available for students applying for the WAT Program from Cyprus and details such as salary can be viewed on our website (jobs will be added as they become available). Students are encouraged to view each job opportunity carefully before applying for the WAT Program and to apply only if they are a good fit for the employment opportunities available. Students should be aware that the main goal of the program is cultural exchange and this is a wonderful opportunity to live in the U.S. for up to 4 months, and meet Americans and learn about the United States. If time allows students may wish to travel within the United States upon the completion of their job.
