Register for the Expedition & Outdoor Leadership (Standard to Advanced) Assessment Course - 5th to 7th July 2024

This course is for leaders who currently hold an Expedition & Outdoor Leadership Certificate at Standard level and wish to undergo further assessment in order to upgrade to the higher Advanced level.

The course will be based in the 'Dark Peak' area of the Peak District National Park during the weekend of Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July 2024.

The cost of the course is £50.00 per person and bookings should be made using the form below. Numbers are capped at 12 so early booking is advised. The closing date for bookings is Friday 31st May.

Those attending will be responsible for their own accommodation arrangements and in-course travel, this is will be a predominantly 'practical' assessment with most time spent on the hill. Some 'pre-course' assignments are also required for this course and form part of the overall 'assessment' and will be required to be submitted before the course weekend.

Please note that leaders must have completed our Safeguarding and Managing Risk e-learning modules via Online Brigade Manager (OBM) before attending this course.
