To join our waitlist for this trip, please review the information below, submit this form, and we will let you know the week of 9/11 if a spot has opened up for you.
Interested sophomores will go "beyond the bubble" and enjoy a day in the historic Tremé, which some historians call the oldest Black neighborhood in the country. This free trip will include a walking tour led by historian Malik Bartholomew (Know NOLA Tours) and wrap with a complimentary lunch at legendary restaurant Lil' Dizzy's Cafe.
Please note that space for this trip is limited and reservations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Students who reserve a spot will be asked to confirm their reservation via email the week before our trip to participate.
Here is the outline of our trip:
Saturday, 9/16
9:30 AM - van loads outside Howard-Tilton Library (7001 Freret Street).
10:00 AM - two hour Tremé walking tour with Know NOLA Tours begins
12:00 PM - lunch at Lil' Dizzy's Cafe
~1:00 PM - board bus back to Tulane at Lil Dizzy's
~1:30 PM - arrive back at Howard-Tilton Library
