Welcome and thank you for considering the Summit Debate, the National Debate Forum and the National Speech Forum summer educational experience.  With over 27 years of experience and over 13 years with Summit Debate Online, the Summit Debate programs are set up to allow you to #ReachForYourSummit.

Summit Debate is proud to announce that we will have an in-person session at UMass Boston (MA).  Our in-person session will be designed to safely provide students and staff with a fantastic educational experience.  Summit Debate will require all of their residential and commuter participants to be fully vaccinated to attend our 2024 program session at UMASS Boston.  We are following the UMASS Boston rules/protocols for masking (highly recommended unless a person from the program is exposed to COVID-19 during their stay and then masking is required) and proof of vaccination to be on the campus during our stay in July of 2024.  As always, we will follow CDC guidelines with regard to all infectious diseases and will keep all camp participants and thier families updated with any changes that might occur as we get closer to camp. 

The following applications are for the Summit Debate online sessions of the National Debate Forum (NDF) and the National Speech Forum (NSF). Students have a choice of program, event and sessions.

Our In-Person Session at UMass Boston will offer all of our main events (Public Forum Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and the following Speech Events: all Interpretation events, Informative Speaking and Original Oratory). We will offer both a two week session and one week session with both residential and commuter options. 

Note that if you plan on debating/working with a specific partner at camp, both of you should sign up for the same session.  For example, both students would need to sign up for Camp Session In Person, and both attend In Person.  We would not be able to accommodate a request for one person to attend a Session Online and the other person to request to attend a Session In Person.

Two Week Session Dates: July 14th - July 28th, 2024 

One Week Session Dates: July 14th-July 21st, 2024   

$3500 for Two Week Residential Program and Curriculum (dorm stay, three meals a day and tuition)

$2150 for a One Week Residential Program and Curriculum (dorm stay, three meals a day and tuition)

$2400 for Two Week Commuter Program (Tuition, weekend catered meals, dinner each day, but .. no residential stay or weekday breakfast or lunch is included)

$1500 for a One Week Commuter Program (Tuition, weekend catered meals, dinner each day, but .. no residential stay or weekday breakfast or lunch is included)

*No Transporation to and from camp will be included in the in person pricing.  Those that wish to purchase limited shuttle transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport on arrival and departure days July 14th and July 28th can purchase that for $100 round trip during the application process or through Summit Debate up until five days before camp starts. 

**Your $500 Non-Refundable Application Deposit is due with your application.  FINAL payments are due no later than April 1, 2024. All tuition payments will be non-refundable for any reason.  Please do not apply if you are still in planning stages.   At the time of application full payment is now required to register to a spot in our camp session. We encourage families to purchase travel insurance from a third party to cover any changes to plans, illness or last minute emergencies.
