Department of Disabilities and Special Needs- Listening Sessions

The purpose of this forum is to collect stakeholder input on development of a strategy to utilize the estimated 40 million dollars in funds from the American Rescue Act of 2021 to support Medicaid Home and Community Based Services. These funds can be used to address immediate needs due to the continued impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic as well as pursue longer term HCBS delivery system improvements. Information from these listening sessions will help the Commission shape the use of existing DDSN funding in its upcoming Fiscal Year 22 spending plan as well its Fiscal Year 23 legislative budget request.
