Become an MCAAP Key Contact
Are you interested in advocating on behalf of children and the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics in the State House? Would you like to become part of the new initiative to train pediatrician advocates, give them opportunities to connect with their legislators, create events to advocate at the State House or in their districts, create interest groups around key issues and be mentored by seasoned pediatric advocates?
The Key Contact program is a new initiative designed to help members of the MCAAP to build relationships with their legislators and become the experts in child health on which legislators rely. This will not only increase the influence of the American Academy of Pediatrics throughout the legislative process but will develop a highly skilled base of pediatricians who are comfortable advocating on child health issues in real time.
